This month, the Recipe Redux is turning 6, and we are celebrating with cake and small bite desserts! I made these mini chocolate covered strawberry banana skewers which are quite easy to make, not so bad for you, and can feed a crowd. I think they’d even make a 4th of July spread extra festive!
- 100 grams chocolate (I used a milka chocolate bar)
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
- 12 strawberries
- 2 bananas
- 12 popsicle sticks
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil slowly in the microwave, making sure to stir often. You can also use a double boiler if you have one.
- Slice strawberries widthwise, to make circular shapes. Slice banana. Stack pieces of strawberry and banana together, and stick a popsicle stick though. Dip in melted chocolate, and set on wax paper. Put in fridge to set chocolate, and keep there until serving.
